Biography
A German dramaturge, she studied German philology, philosophy and religious studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. She has worked as a dramaturg since 1998, and regularly collaborates with directors Hans Neuenfels, Kazuko Watanabe, Claus Guth, Christof Loy and Nadja Loschky. For Guth her selected credits include Jephtha (Dutch National Opera, Paris Opéra), La bohème (Paris Opéra), the world premiere of Violetter Schnee (Berlin State Opera), the world premiere of Heart Chamber (Deutsche Oper Berlin) and Saul (Theater an der Wien).Other recent work includes Die Passagierin and Ariane et Barbe-bleue (Graz) and Rusalka (Cologne) for Loschky, Leonore (Vienna State Opera) for Niermeyer, Der ferne Klang (Stockholm Opera) for Loy and The Queen of Spades (Salzburg Festival) for Neuenfels.
She currently teaches at Salzburg Mozarteum. She has lectured on dramaturgy in Hamburg and Vienna.
