Biography
In 1977 she graduated from the Staging Faculty of the Nemirovich-Danchenko Studio School attached to The Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre (V. Shverubovich’s studio).From 1977 she was costume designer for productions at Moscow’s Lenkom Theatre, in particular for Juno and Avos, The Wise Man, The Seagull, Optimistic Tragedy, The Crazy Day or The Marriage of Figaro, The Marriage, The Cherry Orchard.
As scenographer and costume designer she has worked on over one hundred productions at drama and music theatres in Russia, England, Canada, Israel, Japan and other countries. In Moscow she has designed costumes for productions at The Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, The Malaya Bronnaya Theatre, The Mossoviet Theatre, The Vakhtangov Theatre, The Mayakovsky Theatre.
For the Moscow’s Russian Academic Youth Theatre she has designed costumes for the following productions: Nürnberg, Morning Becomes Electra, Chekhov-GALA, Musketeers, Don Quixote.
She teaches at the staging faculty of the Moscow Art Theatre Studio School.
