Polina Semionova

Biography

Born in Moscow. She studied at the Moscow Choreographic Academy. Upon graduating in 2002, she joined the Berlin Staatsoper Ballet as a principal when she was only 18 years old.

Awards

In 2001, she won the 1^st prize at the Moscow International Ballet Competition .
In 2002, she was awarded the 1^st prize at the Vaganova-Prix Ballet Competition in Saint Petersburg and Junior prize at the Nagoya International Ballet Competition (Japan).
