In 2007 he became a prize-winner at the Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow (2nd prize).
In 2015 he was awarded the Golden Mask National Theatre prize for the role of Philip II (Don Carlo at the Bolshoi Theatre).

Biography
Born in Pavlograd (Ukraine) and graduated from the Gnesin Music Academy in Moscow. While still a student, he became a soloist with the Vladimir Minin’s Moscow Chamber Choir. With the choir he toured in Germany, France, Japan, USA and Argentina.Since 2005 he has been a soloist with the choir of Moscow’s Sretensky monastery. With the choir he toured in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, New York, Washington, Boston, Toronto, Melbourne, Sidney, Berlin, London.

He has performed at the world’s finest opera houses and concert venues, including Metropolitan Opera New York, Teatro alla Scala, Salzburger Festspiele, Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, Wiener Staatsoper, Chorégies d'Orange, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Opernhaus Zurich, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Theater an der Wien, Washington National Opera, Canadian Opera Company Toronto, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, and Bayerische Staatsoper Munich.He has also appeared with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, as well as on the stages of Avery Fisher Hall, New York, Harris Theater, Chicago, John Hancock Hall Boston, Philharmonie Luxemburg, Wiener Konzerthaus, Gewandhaus Orchester in Leipzig, Macau International Music Festival, Seoul Arts Center, Palm Beach Opera and Bregenzer Festspiele.
Has worked with many leading conductors including Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Daniel Barenboim, Riccardo Chailly, Vladimir Spivakov, Yuri Bashmet, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Marco Armiliato, James Levine, James Conlon, Jan Latham Koenig, Ion Marin, Thomas Sanderling, Jesus López-Cobos, Riccardo Frizza and Mikhail Pletnev.
Among his recent engagements Aida and Nabucco at the Metropolitan Opera, Boris Godunov at the Bayerische Staatsoper, Eugene Onegin at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
